The band began their journey at Indiana Wesleyan University in 2017 as an indie-focused music group that consisted of four guys and one girl. They strived to be a band similar to music groups like Young the Giant, Saint Motel, The Strokes, and more. As time continued with different members of the band, creating their own original music, and continuing to find their place in the music industry, Stained Glass City has developed their own unique sound that touches a wide range of listeners. They best describe their genre as Alternative/Prog Rock. Whether you are a person who listens to the vibe of a song, what the instruments are doing, the vocals, or the lyrics--their music is for you. SGC invites its listeners to music that brings you into trials of life that are a means to a final destination, "Termina."
